What are all Webkinz?
All Webkinz are stuffed toy animals. The Ganz company created the first webkinz on April 29, 2005. Similar to the other small types of Stuffed toys on the market today. The one thing that is different is that each Webkinz toy has it’s own unique secret code that is attached to the toy by a tag that allows access to the “Webkinz World” website. This Secret Code allows the owner to get a virtual pet for online play for one year. If the owner wants to have long-term access to an account, the owner has to continue to purchase additional stuffed webkinz toys
Various versions of all Webkins
Lil’ Kinz are similar smaller versions of all webkinz. There is also a slightly more expensive versions in the Signature collection that was first launched in early 2009. In June 2008, Ganz opened the Webkinz eStore, and people can buy all different types of virtual items such as furniture, clothing, charms, and online-only pets. Each eStore items can only be used in conjunction with an active Webkinz or Webkinz, Jr. account. Birthstone pets were also born in June 2009. The really neat thing about the new birthstone pets is that a new one was released for every month. If you enjoy constellations and stars, In April 2010, Ganz replaced the Birthstone pets with the Zaniac Pets and the Zaniac theme. Again, one Zaniac pet will be released every month along with its constellation.

All Webkinz are really fun and exciting for kids to own and share with their friends. With the real toy and the online version of the pet the owner gets a really great toy to enjoy for a very long time. Naming your webkinz is fun and so it playing with it online. You have to make sure you feed your online version of your webkinz as well as play with it and do other activities.
